EURO 2020 – È stato pubblicato su YouTube il video ufficiale dell’inno dei prossimi Europei di calcio, che si terranno in 12 paesi del Vecchio Continente. La colonna sonora di Euro 2020, posticipato a giugno 2021 a causa della pandemia da Covid-19, è stata affidata al famosissimo DJ e producer Martin Garrix, accompagnato da Bono Vox e The Edge, rispettivamente frontman e chitarrista degli U2. Il nome del brano è “We Are The People”.
Il video vede protagonista l’artista irlandese degli U2, in più scene coperto dai colori della sua Nazionale, mentre racconta l’importanza del calcio per il sociale e per stimolare l’aggregazione, in un momento di tale difficoltà. Un sound importante, pronto a far ballare una volta che sarà messo alle spalle il Coronavirus.
Dall’11 giugno all’11 luglio, sentiremo questa canzone all’alba di ogni partita e, soprattutto, in occasione della cerimonia d’apertura. A Roma la prima gara ufficiale, con l’Italia che aprirà la sua campagna europea contro la Turchia di Calhanoglu e compagni.
